Low Calorie Drink: Health Drink


Preparation time: A few minutes
*No cooking
*Makes 2 glasses

Ingredients:
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 Carrot
  • Segments of 1 orange
  • A few drops lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste Crushed ice to serve

How to?

  • Cut the tomatoes and carrots into big pieces.
  • Add the orange segments, lemon juice, sugar and ½ teacup of water and blend in a liquidizer. Strain.
  • Add salt and pepper.

*Serve cold with crushed ice.


Health Information: This drink is good for the eyes. Its high fibre content also helps to maintain good intestinal movement.

Not only nutritious but delicious too. I also added a few sprigs of mint to beat the heat!
