Low Cal Recipe: Spicy Spinach Dumplings


* Preparation Time: 10 minutes
* Cooking Time: 10 minutes
* Makes: 10 pieces

Ingredients:

  • 2 teacups finely chopped spinach
  • 1 chopped green chili
  • 1 tablespoon gram flour (besan)
  • 2 teaspoons whole wheat flour
  • 2 teaspoons fresh curds (optional)
  • A pinch asafoetida
  • A pinch sugar
  • 1 teaspoon oil (olive oil)
  • Salt to taste

How to ?

  1. Mix all the ingredients, using curds if the mixture is too dry for shaping
  2. Shape into small flat rounds
  3. Steam the rounds in a cooker for 5 to 7 minutes
